I bought a Govee Neon Rope Light for around $70 expecting it to last much longer than just 2 years. The product looked great at first, but for something marketed as a premium smart lighting product, this lifespan feels very disappointing.I contacted customer support hoping they would stand behind the product, but I was simply told it was out of warranty with no real solution offered. I understand warranties have limits, but customers also expect reasonable durability from a product at this price point.Smart lighting isn’t something most people expect to replace every couple of years. I’ve bought much cheaper LED lights that lasted longer. I really liked the design and app experience, which makes this even more frustrating.I hope Govee improves the longevity of these products and offers better goodwill support for customers dealing with premature failures.As you see in the picture, only half of the rope light up in red only. I wish I could give 0 star

Very nice product after a while it stopped working

I’ve been a loyal Govee fan since way before they were "mainstream," but I’m officially calling it quits on this desk rope.This is literally my second one in less than a year. The first one had a section of LEDs just die out after a few months, so I figured maybe it was a fluke and bought a replacement. Nope. Round two, and the exact same thing happened in almost the same spot.And just to be clear—I’m not even running these 24/7. I have them on a strict automation schedule so they’re off most of the day. For the price they’re charging, you’d think these would last years, not months.It feels like as Govee got more popular, the quality control just tanked. Super disappointing because I loved the look, but I'm not wasting any more money on a product that’s basically guaranteed to break. If you're looking for something reliable, look elsewhere.
